We’re thrilled to announce that Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has reached a major milestone – our 10th anniversary in Ghana! Over the past decade, we’ve been committed to creating value for our customers, employees, shareholders, and communities.

Our Acting CEO, Jane Mingle, reiterated our commitment to taking proactive steps towards creating a sustainable, inclusive, and responsible future for all our stakeholders. We’re dedicated to delivering enduring value through simple and accessible health and financial protection, responsible investment, and sustainable business practices.

Our Journey

We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings in a small office in Kokomlemle, Accra. Today, we have 10 branches across five regions, 150 staff, and over 3700 agents. We’ve also established partnerships with four banks, giving us access to over 3 million customers in over 200 branches across the country.

Innovation and Sustainability

We’re proud of our innovative products, such as “Mekakrawa” and “PruWealth”, which have been designed to be customer-centric and inclusive. Our sustainability initiatives, including the COVID-19 Relief Fund, Climate and Health Resilience Fund, and Safe Steps Road Safety Campaign, demonstrate our dedication to building resilient communities.

Business Growth

We’ve seen significant growth over the years, with our gross premium increasing from GHC 11.7 million in 2014 to GHC 412 million as of 2023. Our total assets have also grown from GHC 50.6 million to GHC 668.6 million as of 2023.

We’re committed to continuing our customer-centric, innovative, and sustainability approach to business, and we’re poised to cement our position as a leader in Ghana’s insurance industry within the next decade.
